Welcome to the wonderful ride that is Whimsy!

want to live here??

Isn’t this the sweetest dish garden? Wouldn’t it be fun to move on in?

Ah, I digress!!

Welcome to Whimsy Week!

I define Whimsy as “extravagant, fanciful, or excessively playful expression; an odd or fanciful notion” and it is, arguably the most delightful of my Bliss Habits. It is also one of the hardest to write about. Being one of these “you know it when you see it” and “eye of the beholder” things, whimsy is difficult to get a good handle on. I do know that several of my bloggy friends ALREADY have a better grasp then I, so to kick off the week I want to send you a visiting…

We Bloom Here

The delightful M.Bloom (yes her name really is Bloom… so fitting!) is our hostess and she delights us with small whimsical tidbits about her crafts and life in general. So many of the treasures she shares delight both heart and soul. Enjoy the magic!

Just Jingle

One of the MOST prolific crafters I have ever met, Jingle delights us nearly every day with some project or another. On Wednesday’s she shares a photo of her work space which is always a crazy mess of wonder (ok so once I recall it being super neat… but I think she just moved that time so may not count — I submit last week’s photo as evidence above!) Jingle is a particularly gifted paper artist and I think you will love her whimsical greeting cards!

She has previously guest blogged on this very topic and provided some great inspiration for finding your own whimsy. ( Check that out here.) Feast your whimsical soul on these beauties:
