“Kathy’s Inspiration” by Tamara Magnitsky

Welcome to Inspire Week!

INSPIRE – fill (someone) with the urge or ability to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.

You may know that I have recently taken up painting, which means I’m constantly scouring the pages of pinterest for images that inspire me. This is also the reason I chose this from the hundreds of Tamara’s photos. You see, many of her photos might be categorized as inspirational but this was the one that INSPIRES me to pick up my paint brush. I LOVE how the water reflects the colors and the light. I want to know if I can make paint look like this. I am moved to action because of this photo.

January finds her inspiration in the world around her:

Inspiration from the world
by January Handl

The element of fire
burns its way to
and through
my focus
offering the cleansing
rebirth of ash and charcoaled
at the core of being
now freed with
Power and passion
When air and wind
offer breath and breeze
reminding me
of the deep wisdom
of pausing for inhaling
what surrounds me
and exhale my own
Unique expression
Earth pulls to me
with rock and minerals
of death to life
gravity promising
to hold me tight
until I go within
to find at my own depths
the link to
The universal well
And water, oh my water
to flow toward its own
and have each molecule
lovingly hold each other
illuminating the truths
that no matter the form
We are all on the way home.

Yes, let us all “exhale our own unique expression!”

This week our bliss initiative is to go out to be inspired and also inspire others. This round of Bliss Habits we’re concentrating on the proactive side of things so get out there and do some inspire-ing! No vague inspirational ideas. This week we want action. Do what encourages yourself or others to move forward and do something!

Don’t be inspirational! Get out there… INSPIRE and be INSPIRED!

Tamara and January are here each Monday to help set the mood for the week!
