Finding the ease that creates magic

THE IDEA: Moments of peace and serenity are all too difficult to find. Greeting the dawn over a hot cup of coffee is one way, sometimes, to find such a moment.



Creating serenity in my life isn’t always easy.

Serenity is created within as much as it is about finding it outside of myself. These past few days, serenity is missing in action. I am feeling a mixed bag of emotions all at the same time.

I met my new granddaughter for the first time this week. I found serenity while holding her in my arms and watching her sleep. Her small face would morph from restful to restless and back in a few heartbeats. I wondered what was going on in her small yet brilliant being. I was enchanted and in love.

The government is requiring information from me and I am feeling anxious. I wake up at night and immediately find myself in the space of anxiety.

Lately, this has not been my natural set point. It feels foreign. It feels not serene.

I thank my body for showing me where I still have to pay attention. I apologize to my body for my mindset. I self talk myself back into sleep. The pattern continued through the night. This morning my body requires some loving of some sort.

I pondered what to do. Shall I do some yoga or have a warm bath or maybe a walk in the cold and snowy woods where I am visiting?

Why oh why can’t I do what Stacey does? Why can’t I just slip easily back into slumber?

What would make me and my body sigh with relief? And then I remember that I have The Group to talk to. I can access magic with questions!

Why is not a good question. What can I do to change this? Can it be changed?

So dear Group-what can I do or be in order to feel more serene?

Dear one, and to all of you who may struggle with anxiety and stress, there is a way through it that isn’t so difficult.

Firstly, you are working on the premise that there is something amiss. There is nothing amiss. You create everything that is in your life for reasons that you often are not even aware of. We know that you would prefer to point fingers at something outside of yourself but how is that working for you?

It doesn’t work for Linda and it won’t work for anyone. Each of you came into your life in order to experience all the aspects of life on planet earth. Notice that we said all the aspects. They aren’t all sunshine and roses. But, you can change how you navigate it. You can create more ease in your life by understanding that you have control over how you feel about things.

Are you gentle with yourself or are you second-guessing yourself? We have seen that Linda is second-guessing her accounting of figures. It is a piece that she has been working with for many years. Each time we have watched her become easier with it and realize that she has always done the best that she can, but she doesn’t hold that knowledge. She still doesn’t really believe that her best is not good enough.

She thinks and worries that she could have done something different. It has not been resolved in her being and so it will keep coming up until she realizes that she is more than good enough for the life that she is choosing-as all of you are.

When you know that in your being there is an ease that you can access that creates magic. Whatever way you can find, to access that intuitive knowing is the best way for you.

What does that for you? Truly anything that makes your body sigh with relief will do the trick. Once you are in a gentler and more allowing state then the answers will appear, the knowings will show themselves and in that moment you will create more ease and then it just keeps on rolling along-unless you stop the momentum.

What would it take for you?

We know that Linda has done everything she possibly can in the moment and that she should get out and find some fun-joyous fun. She has friends to visit. She has a baby to remind her of the beauty that is life on planet earth. Stacey did not land on planet earth in order to be stressed or anxious. She came to have fun.

So many experiences to have and fun from a soul perspective isn’t always what you might call fun. Your very being is cheering you on as you find a way to navigate your life with more ease.

It is all about ease and joy. You know what creates that for you.
