Speaking of Trust…Won’t you share yours?

Trust – To expect with confidence. Belief that you can depend on another and allowing yourself to be vulnerable.

Welcome to the Saturday Blog Party! This week’s topic is Trust. This means we are looking for everything and anything on the topic! Share posts or sites that inspire you to Trust yourself or others, share your challenges, old favorites or one of the latest posts, literally Everything and Anything on the topic is welcome.

I’m going to kick things off with a few things that I think speak beautifully on the topic.

Trust: The New Workplace Currency – This series by Nan S. Russell for Psychology Today is a one stop workplace trust library! Check out the Do’s and Don’ts, learn how to improve trust, what behaviors increase or decrease trust… literally everything, including what Scrooge can teach about trust is in this powerful collection.

Experiment in Trust – In this terrific inquiry, Sandi of Deva Coaching asks,”What if trust is something you give?” and then proposes a trust experiment. Stop on by to throw your hat in the game!

Trusting in strangers: Rachel Botsman at TEDGlobal2012– I LOVE THIS!! “If someone asked you for the three words that would sum up your reputation, what would you say?” Rachel Botsman asks us. “The answer to this question will become profoundly important in an age where reputation will become your most important asset.

Flying Girl Lets Go, or Trust That The Seeds You Plant Will Grow – Fabulous trust inspired art by Rowena Murillo “You can’t grow a garden by keeping those seeds in the packet.

OPEN TO TRUST – Ahh, I’ve shared this one once before however it speaks so beautifully to the precious opening required for trust, I just had to share it again. By the lovely Lisa of LifeUnity. (P.S. If you haven’t been to her site recently… you should definitely stop by… change and goodness are in the ether!)

5 Reasons to keep on Trusting Life – by Aline Hanle from Modern Life Blogs. “The suggestive thinking process is a powerful tool for our being to bridge a gap of doubt and restore the power of faith. Here is a list of 5 reasons that we may use to keep on trusting life when life challenges us in trusting it.

Happy Hopping!

Here are the ground rules for this party:

  1. Share NEW and OLD posts on the topic. This is your chance to share your favorite posts. If they fit the topic and you think we could benefit it doesn’t matter when you wrote it. Wisdom is timeless!
  2. Share your’s and other’s posts! Ran across a timely tidbit? Let us hear about it too! When sharing someone else’s posts  please say submitted by using your name or blog name.
  3. Leave a comment after posting letting us know why you think the post is worth our time. We are building a knowledge library and your context makes it all the more valuable!
  4. Have Fun! I hope to make this party a fun and valuable addition to your weekend blog hopping.

Note: This link up list will stay active so feel free to add items ANY time. If you don’t have a blog to share, photos, ETSY collections and essays are most welcome. Let me know if you need help linking them up!

I look forward to visiting all the treasures YOU add to the collection!
Outrageous Joy,

P.S. Next week we will be “Speaking of Love” and looking for links that celebrate that Bliss Habit!
