Speaking of #Simplicity, won’t you share YOUR thoughts?!

Simplicity – A lifestyle of mindfulness; living a more sustainable, gratifying, and spiritually connected existence.

Welcome to the Saturday Blog Party! This week’s topic is Simplicity. This means we are looking for everything and anything on the topic! Share posts or sites that inspire the simple life, share your challenges or things that delight, old favorites or one of the latest posts, literally Everything and Anything on the topic is welcome.

To get things started, I’ve picked three posts that speak beautifully to this topic:

26 Tips and Tricks to Simplify Life – This one from isn’t about changing your life… it’s a bunch of little tips to make some things in life simple… ahh… I am breathing easier already! Now that your over at Amy Bowman’s gorgeous New Nostalgia site, you’ll want to check out all her Simplify posts and well just about everything else! Inspiring and beautiful, don’t miss it!

Death by Simplification – I love a lot of Jack Rugile, aka Simple Sapien‘s stuff. His site is designed  “to provide insight on living a simpler life and becoming a better person in general” and in this piece he takes simplicity to its logical final conclusion. Far fetched? Perhaps but it will get you thinking… (check out some of his other great stuff while you are there too!)

How to Live More Simply, and Why It Is So Important – I picked this one from Frugal Dad (aka Jason White) for his challenge: Find one thing you’ve been holding on to because it is a status symbol, or a luxury item that you don’t really need. Give it away to a loved one, or a complete stranger, and enjoy the freedom of a simpler life. The rest of the post about reducing financial stress is life changing.

Here are the rules for this party:

  1. Share NEW and OLD posts on the topic. This is your chance to share your favorite posts. If they fit the topic and you think we could benefit it doesn’t matter when you wrote it. Wisdom is timeless!
  2. Share your’s and other’s posts! Ran across a timely tidbit? Let us hear about it too! When sharing someone else’s posts please designate this and  say submitted by using your name or blog name.
  3. Leave a comment after posting letting us know why you think the post is worth our time. We are building a knowledge library and your context makes it all the more valuable!
  4. Have Fun! I hope to make this party a fun and valuable addition to your weekend blog hopping.

I’m looking forward to visiting all the treasures YOU add to the collection!
Outrageous joy,

P.S. Next week we will be “Speaking of Snark” and looking for posts that will foster this Bliss Habit!

Snark – Giving a voice to the the feisty, straight talking beacon of authenticity within us.
